For more than three decades, clinical psychologist, Don Clark, has been speaking to the hearts and minds of gay people, their families, friends, teachers and helpers in the many editions of Loving Someone Gay.With compassion he has promoted communication across generations as well as revealing a path of understanding and reconciliation for parents, siblings, husbands and wives as well as among religious leaders, teachers, librarians, legislators, judges, and law enforcement agencies. Most important, he has provided vital insight into the psychodynamics and sociology of individuals, the gay men and lesbians who have been and continue to be misunderstood and abused in societies around the world. He has said: ´´In this age of global misunderstanding in which we see old habits of prejudice and bigotry coming into question finally, the world cries out for communication and empathy. The time has come for any person who believes she or he is rational to offer a helping hand to a gay sister or brother, here or there, known or unknown. Previously unquestioned rules are changing. No person is free to dare to be exactly who she or he is until that person is willing to offer understanding, respect and affection to the gay person who yearns only for that same freedom.´´ With this latest updated edition of his famous book, Dr. Clark shines a clear light into our future in the twenty-first century. 1. It has been brought to my attention that many women are suffering silently in their romantic relationships regarding the sexuality of their male counterparts. I have owned a women´s shoe store in Detroit, Michigan for over a decade and I cannot count how many times a woman has voiced this concern to me. Many women have poured their hearts out to me regarding their personal lives and homosexuality is the number two concern following infidelity. I decided to write a series of books regarding the most popular topics discussed at my shoe store. My first book, A Ho Needs 2 Stay in a Ho´s Place was pretty much a satirical piece as Is Your Man Gay? was going to be. However, when I began to conduct research for the audiobook, I was astonished by the AIDS related statistics and decided that this is not a joke. If one person listens to this audiobook and takes what I have said seriously then I have accomplished my goal. I cannot tell you if your man is gay however I have put together a handbook which should provide you with enough information for you to make your own decision. After listening this audiobook, you should be able to look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, ´´Is my man gay? 1. Language: English. Narrator: William Butler. Your birth is a revolution. You chose to be born like this. Tired of the closet lifestyle, arranged marriages, (dis)honor(able) killings happening all around me, in the UK I decided to do something about it. Guys I knew or had dated were marrying someone of the opposite sex, fueling up on drug induced sex orgies, or selling themselves on Grindr to find validation whilst suffocating with shame. The guilt and shame of being gay and South Asian. Yes, for LGBTI people of color, the story is still the same. Stuck in archaic times, families hold on to izaat (honor), societal pressure, and the need to conform. So I turned to spirituality for solace. After a yoga teacher´s course, life coaching certificates, and many grueling silent meditation retreats later I felt like myself again. And that´s when I decided to write Bollywood Gay, a revolutionary, fiery, and necessary bible for those wanting an authentic life. The book has an activist slant, urging people first to sort their own issues before moving onto the bigger task of bringing LGBTI rights in South Asia. It is based on the Law of Attraction principles, with each chapter finishing with an action sheet, intended to dive into the mind, to allow the listener to pierce through blockages, limiting beliefs, feelings, goals, and desires. Do you want the man of your dreams? Do you want to come out to your family? Do you want to live a happier life? All the action sheets will spearhead you on to that effect. The book aims to be positive, motivational, inspirational, and eye opening. I want to remove the years of self-victimization and external blame so you can reclaim your inner power. I want you to realize that you are the change and can do it in an instant with each and every thought, feeling, and word you use. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Manjinder Singh Sidhu. Just be gentle, he said softly, cupping Allen´s cheek and tugging his lower lip free before kissing him again. His hand slid from Allen´s cheek to his shoulder, to his chest, and the work-rough thumb rubbed against a nipple until it peaked. ´´Don´t need to rush.´´ Allen´s breath was already coming short. He wondered if he´d even be able to make it very long, let alone until Bill was inside of him. Thunder crashed almost on top of them, startling Allen, as his focus was all on Bill. ´´Just relax,´´ murmured Bill, kissing down.... Warning: This content is not suitable for all ages. Meeting his celebrity crush was one thing, but even Hollywood could not have written what happened next. Inspired by E.L. James’ international phenomenon, 50 Shades of Grey, Jeffery Self’s 50 Shades of Gay tells the story of a young celebrity blogger, Alex Kirby, who interviews Taylor Grayson, a superstar leading man in Hollywood blockbuster films. Grayson also happens to be a closeted gay man with a passion for BDSM. When Grayson draws the younger man into his private orbit and initiates him into his sexual world, the younger man can tell that kinky sex has shielded Grayson from having a real emotional connection with another man. But he is head-over-heels in love with the older, powerful, gorgeous man who has selected him for the pleasures of submission. Ultimately, Alex decides to experiment with the power differential between them, and see if he can break through the armor that Grayson and his layers of Hollywood handlers have imprisoned him in. Will he be able to open Grayson up to real intimacy, or will he cause Grayson to end the relationship and cut himself off yet again? 1. Language: English. Narrator: Iggy Toma.
